1. Emerson Spice Hotel
Rooftop Tea House Restaurant
The Tea House on the rooftop at Emerson Spice is our Signature Seafood restaurant offering an informal fine dining tasting menu in eight servings with the freshest local seafood, a creative use of spices and indigenous plants.
Enjoy your meal while taking in the sights and sounds of the city.
The price for The Tea House Tasting Menu is $55 per person excluding drinks.
Come early, from around 18h00 for sundowners and the first course of this eight-course culinary journey is served promptly at 19h00.
Please reserve in advance for this unique dining experience.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Due to the nature of this set seafood based menu, dietary requirements are better catered for in our other restaurants.
2. Emerson Spice Hotel’s
Secret Garden Restaurant
The Secret Garden Restaurant Emerson Spice offers a varied and flexible menu, for lunch & dinner, in a magical garden space. A perfect place to escape the hustle & bustle of the streets of Stone Town.
DAILY OPENING TIMES
Lunch: 12am-4pm (last meal orders 3.15pm)
Dinner: 5pm-10pm (last meal orders 9.15pm)
WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY MUSIC EVENTS
The stage of Secret Garden is offered to Zanzibari musicians fusing their own traditions with modern music. Starting from 8pm, an entrance fee is for the musicians for these music events.
3. Emerson on Hurumzi
Rooftop Tea House Restaurant
Emerson on Hurumzi’s rooftop Tea House with 360 degree view over Stone Town. Seating is Swahili style; cushions, thick Persian rugs with low tables & live music during dinner. The set menu comprises delicious Arabic or authentic Zanzibari cuisine at $45 per person excl. drinks. A vegetarian option is also available upon request, please book in advance.

Due to limited seating, advance reservations are required for dinner, along with a deposit payment to guarantee your reservation. Please note we are only able to hold your table until 15 minutes after reservation time.
SEATING OPTIONS
When booking, please indicate if you prefer seating ‘Swahili style’ on cushions by a low table, or a regular seat. Both options have views over Stone Town and the sea.
4. Emerson on Hurumzi
Roshani Private Dining
‘Chambre separee’ Roshani offers private dining in Emerson on Hurumzi for up to 15 guests. Guests are welcome for the full evening dining experience which includes a set 3 course menu at $45 per person excl. drinks. Seating in Roshani is on cushions at low tables.
Roshani is located on the third floor of the building at Emerson on Hurumzi.
