The Tea House at Emerson Spice is our signature seafood restaurant offering an informal fine dining eight‑tasting menu in eight servings with the freshest local seafood, a creative use of spices, and indigenous plants.

Enjoy your meal while taking in the sights and sounds of the city.

Come early, from around 18h00 for sundowners, and the first course of this five‑course culinary journey eight is served promptly at 19h00. Please reserve in advance for this unique dining experience.

There is NO better place to have a bite to eat and watch the sunset in Stone Town. You need to book in advance, dinner is served only at 19:00, but you can arrive by 18:00 so as not to miss the sunset. Dinner is not expensive (drinks excluded). The best rooftop restaurant in Stone Town
The best rooftop restaurant in Stone Town. It just is. The best restaurant in Stone Town. Amazing rooftop view of the city at sundown, good cocktails, friendly staff and some of the best food in town. We suggest you book a table instead of sitting on cushions, it’s more comfortable when eating. And try to go there when then have musicians playing, it adds a whole other dimension to the experience. If you don’t try it when in Stone Town you will regret it!

Dinner on the Rooftop Tea House was our most memorable in Zanzibar and should be experienced by all who visit Stone Town. Diners sit atop cushions and large Persian rugs on the hotel’s roof while a velvet roof dances in the wind. Evening cocktails begin at 18:00 and dinner is served at 19:00, make sure to book a spot in advance as the demand is high.

Amazing Restaurant and Tea house in the middle of Stone Town.  Looks like you are in a completely different place… Like heaven!  Prices are very accessible.  Outstanding space and attentive staffing.
